ShrimpLab – speeding up the use of robots to replace human workers?

Will Covid-19 speed up the use of robots to replace human workers?

On the frontline of prawn technology, robotics – in farming, harvesting and, importantly, processing shrimp, where human handling and manipulation is the industry norm – are being developed in the ShrimpLab.

The ShrimpLab is a private Prawnmaster initiative concentrating on applied IoT, edge computing, AI and robotics – for shrimp protein.

Five different pilot projects in development.

End consumer targeted rapid steam sterilization cook technology – from frozen to cooked in under 90 seconds, with guaranteed food safety (sterilization using the Gas Laws).

In fact can be applied to many different foods requiring a final cook process.
