There is NO clear and compelling scientific evidence that concludes that decapod crustaceans are sentient animals capable of feeling pain – except in the UK – unsurpisingly considering the direction that has been taken on many aspects of defining life over there…

Thankfully there is Bexit – with the UK kicked out into the long grass…
So for all those action advocacy groups (mainly for media based in UK) that are trying to get laws in place…based around shrimp welfare…and they point at Europe not recognizing shrimp sentience…
